I personally think that, as nice as flowers are, 5 weeks is a bit early unless there is some kind of occasion or unless you intend to buy her flowers on a regular basis for the forseeable future. You don't have to send anything expensive or extravegant..something simple and nice to say that you are thinking of her! They will either love it, or you will never hear a thing from them. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't scare her away. But if I sent them it would be like next week, so that would make it 6 weeks. If I was dating a guy for 5 weeks and he sent me flowers at work, I would be totally wowed by it and definitely know he is interested in seeing me. I have not recieved flowers in over 9 years, but I have sent them. Sending flowers can be a little intimidating if you have never done it before.
Most of what I know about women I learned from how my dad treated my mother. He would sing to her in public, and she'd blush and beg for him to stop. Women are the more conscientious gender; men are the more eat-with-our-fingers gender. The Frisky: Where all the good guys are I recently bought flowers for a lady I'm a' courting.
Other sites have an arrangement with local florists.
If they contract the delivery to a local florist, this means your flowers will be hand-delivered rather than shipped in a box.
I even received an approving nod from a pair of lesbians who also knew I was doing my duty.
